Beautiful Arabic ornaments in Morocco in pictures

I’ve never expected to like Arabic ornaments and motifs all that much. But it was love at first sight that I couldn’t resist! I remember walking around Istanbul back in 2010 and raving about their beauty (that resulted in way too many pictures of details of Arabic architecture).

I knew Morocco will be a heaven too when it comes to all the ornaments and motifs. But I didn’t expect to see them on every corner of narrow streets in medinas of Marrakesh, Essaouria or Fez. Wherever I walked I could see a small fountain, a bench, a house entrance, a mosque or a koranic school, all of them incredibly reach in beautiful details. Let me show you some of my fave ones!
